Once in Banff, we went to see the cave and basin where people discovered natural hot springs and the whole national parks of Canada were initiated.
Ella inside the hot springs cave. It smelled of sulphur. People were able to bath/swim in here up until recently when they discovered the presence of an almost extinct snail!
We went for a LONG hike....almost 9 km. Sights were breathtaking!
Colour of the river here was spectacular.
One river in the foreground ran into the other one that had that colour.
We climbed up and up and up on this trail. We are bushed!
