Mountains, mountains and more mountains!

We had a very picturesque day. I guess you eventually get used to the beautiful sights that greet you around each corner. We get very excited, and take lots of photos....sorry! We started out the day by taking the gondola at the Lake Louise ski mountain . On our way, we saw a cub grizzly bear who scampered up a tree. The lodge was beautiful!
While on the gondola, we saw a much larger female grizz. Very cool, but it did mean that the walking trails were closed.
The vista was gorgeous.

We then headed off to the actual Lake Louise. It was extremely crowded but breathtaking nonetheless!

A mermaid!

A merman!???!
A snipet of the views from our drive.

Bow Lake

These lakes are glacier fed. Brrrrrr, they are cold!

Beautiful Peyto Lake

We stopped for a quick hike at the Colombian Ice Fields.

We are now in Jasper for the next two days!
